2007 Sauvignon Blanc $22This vintage showed the strengths of our high altitude vineyard.
With most of the country ravaged by drought, we had one of our best vintages. Always carefully hand picked to maintain our crisp clean style, and bottled under screwcap to maintain freshness and vibrancy.
Typically highly aromatic this vintage has a complex nose, revealing floral scents of lime and passion blossom with herbaceous notes of nettles and pea sprouts. The palate is finely tuned with delicious electric acidity underscoring mid palate texture, finishing long and clean.

This vintage showed the strengths of our high altitude vineyard at 1000 meters. With most of the country ravaged by drought, we had one of our best vintages. Always carefully hand picked to maintain our crisp clean style, we picked just as the greener classic apple and pear characters started to move to riper notes. An intriguing nose reveals gravelly/mineral characters with hints of Nashi pear and the tight palate finishes long and clean with a zest of grapefruity acidity. A versatile food wine that can be enjoyed with delicate seafood's, or spicier Asian foods.

Nik's Folley
Nik is not a fan of Australian Chardonnay's, but loves the French version of Chablis.
So we decided to make our 2006 in this style, crisp, dry and without wood. This was a gamble,as our winemaking team had never approached Chardonnay this way, it was both exciting and challenging.
The result; a delicate wine, with mineral characters, finely structured and taut. This ultra dry style is great with delicate foods, like sushi, sashimi, and shellfish, serve nice and cold.

Carefully handled through picking, pressing & fermentation the highly aromatic characters of this cool climate grape have been beautifully expressed. Lime blossom, passion fruit & apricot scents lead to a zippy, citrus dominant palate with a long clean finish.

Our first vintage of this perfumed white wine has the characteristic and distinctive aromas of stone fruits and their blossoms. True to the variety the colour is rich, and from our high altitude we have achieved quite good acid levels for this wine style.
Made this year from Merlot grapes, cold soaked and then pressed after 24 hours. More cerise in colour with a lifted nose of plum, strawberries and rose petals, it is balanced by a soft, elegant, just-dry palate. Perfect for long summer evenings, picnics and lunches.
Hand picked fruit was given 2 separate fermentation treatments to produce this intriguing pinot noir. One portion included whole bunched fermented hot, the other destemmed and crushed fruit kept cooler and with a prolonged skin contact post ferment. Maturation was in older French Oak.
A paler coloured pinot, the wine is highly perfumed with strawberry & red current fruits, complexing mushroom / forest floor notes and background oak.
The palate is bright and delicious with deceptive length and just a hint of stem / oak tannin. A must have with salmon / duck.
Merlot thrives in our vineyard; always hand picked it was then fermented in small open vats that are gently hand plunged. Followed by a relaxing 15 months in Frech oak. The nose reveals plum, strawberry and lick of liquorice, the palate is soft and rounded and has fine, supple tannins and well balanced acidity. Drink now to 3-4 years.

This release is a blend of 50% Merlot with 50% Cabernet.
Cool Climate reds need time to develop, that’s why we have waited 3 years to release this wine. A complex nose of violets and berries with hints of dark chocolate and earthy spices, the palate is dense and tightly structured and has a fine persistent tannin finish.
This wine will reward further cellaring up to 2010.
A great wine with red meats, and especially good with Lamb.
