Our second vintage of this fresh style, unquestionably Italian. Lemon zest overlaid with cut pear, finishing with a grapefruity acidity.
We expect this wine to remain fresh and easy drinking for a further 3-4 years.

Quite delicate at the moment bottled Tues 9th August This is classic Riesling with aromas of lime blossum and a smack of lime juice on the palate. It has 6 grams residual sugar, to soften the racy acidity.

The wine has lifted fruit aromas of peach and fresh apricots, a palate both taut and tight with an unusual freshness and vitality and a finish clean and zesty with a delicious tang of peach sorbet. It is an ideal accompaniment with fresh fruits and fruit salads or serve chilled as an aperitif any time.

Typical of our vineyard style with lifted aromatics of cherries and strawberries, the palate reveals richer notes of stewed rhubarb and spicier beetroot like character. Finishing with great length and fine tannins.

The idea for this wine is the great wines of Beaujolais. Not having any Gamay we used whole bunches of Pinot layered between crushed Merlot and a slow cool ferment. A slurping good lunch red with juicy red fruits, that likes a slight chill.
